32-year-old Aaron Donald Rams defensive tackle has announced his retirement.

 

 Aaron Donald announced his retirement on social media platform X, saying, "I have dedicated myself to football throughout my career. 

Donald's career has spanned nearly 10 years

. His career began in St. Louis and then moved to Los Angeles with the franchise.

He left the game with an unassailable amount of experience.

He was a 10-time Pro Bowler, eight-time First Team All-Pro, three-time Defensive Player of the Year and 2014 Defensive Rookie of the Year.

He also won a Super Bowl with the Rams in 2021. He finished his career with 111 sacks, 543 tackles, 176 tackles for loss and 260 quarterback hits in 126 games.Before that, Donald was a standout at his school and at the University of Pittsburgh.Team coach Sean Mic way said he was a player who encouraged each of his teammates to be better than themselves, and many players praised him after his retirement.

Donald is eligible for Pro Football of the Fame in 2029, he will probably choose the first ballot.

Aaron was born on May 23, 1991 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
